Recycling programs have been largely implemented into society on land throughout our country and now the time has come in incorporate them into air travel as well. A report released in February 2010 by A Green America highlights the lack of recycling programs within airline industries. As of February 2010 no major airlines recycled any of the major recyclables including aluminum cans, glass, paper and plastic and no major airline company had a comprehensive program for minimizing onboard waste, which I find completely ridiculous!
